We recommend using whiteboard markers or dry-erase crayons. If a permanent marker is used by mistake, simply trace over it with a whiteboard marker and wipe it away with the eraser.
For everyday use, simply wipe off the writing with a whiteboard eraser — that is all you need to remove whiteboard marker ink.
If the board becomes dirty from children’s sticky or greasy hands, we suggest wiping it occasionally with a clean, damp microfibre cloth and drying it afterwards. We do not supply microfibre cloths. This step is only for surface grime — not for removing marker.
No. The Writeboard is designed to resist ghosting and staining — even after years of use. If permanent marker is used by accident, simply trace over it with a whiteboard marker and wipe it away with the eraser.
